Summer 2026: Boston got its own women's professional baseball team. We made a shirt about it.

Below her, the ballpark stirs. The sign reads OPEN. It has not always. A lesser bird might circle. Might hesitate. She does not. Wings swept, eyes forward, she commits fully to the dive, as her mother did, and hers before that, back through summers no one thought to put on television.
