Game 6, 1975 World Series, bottom of the 12th. Carlton Fisk hits one high down the left field line, hops toward first, and waves it fair with both arms. It hits the foul pole. Red Sox win. Every fan old enough to remember it can still see the hops.

This is the view from that pole, the yellow paint that's officially the Fisk Pole now, looking back toward the infield and the boxes. An original Red Seat photo for the fan who still waves at the TV when a ball's close to the line.
