Women's professional baseball comes to Boston in Summer 2026. We made a shirt about it.

She has waited a long time for this. Decades, in fact. Others said the waiting was foolish. That the ballpark below would never open. She ignored them. Ospreys are patient. It is, perhaps, their defining quality. That, and the talons.
Below her, the ballpark stirs. The sign reads OPEN. It has not always. A lesser bird might circle. Might hesitate. She does not. Wings swept, eyes forward, she commits fully to the dive, as her mother did, and hers before that, back through summers no one thought to put on television.
Summer 2026 brings women's professional baseball to Boston at last. The osprey, unconcerned with history but perfectly equipped to participate in it, does what she has always done.
