Losing to them stings. It's supposed to. But one series in October doesn't undo a pretty great summer. Or so we're telling ourselves. Hope springs eternal or whatever.
For a season nobody quite knew what to expect from, this one gave us ridiculous wins, frustrating losses, The Streak, The Scots and Payton Tolle. That weird little jump. The hug on the first base line. The push-up on the mound. The smirk right before the immaculate inning, like he already knew. We'd like more of all of that, please.
